This book is well written and constructed. Academically speaking it ticks every box. Everything is properly defined and explained. The title says: The Complex innovation which he explains as something in its original state is completely lawful but it has become co-opted somewhat by an additional act which can either steer the complex act towards clear innovation or towards that which is infact in some degree of conformity to the original aims of the Sharia المقاصد.
The book doesn't just discuss the complex innovation but all types of innovation discussed by the ulama and the khilaf regarding it. Its a very good book and is not your usual biased book that only supports one view point because it actually supports them all as potentially valid although he does have his own preference. A real scholarly work
